Each StraighterLine course follows a syllabus, which is located in our catalog. Though the topics and components of our courses vary, each topic may include a reading assignment, a lesson presentation, review activities, homework assignments, and other methods to help you learn the essential concepts. The topics represent the fundamental concepts that you will need to master in order to successfully complete the course.
Graded assessments are essential for completing the course. The first exam or quiz can be taken once every 24 hours with unlimited attempts. Subsequent exams and quizzes allow up to three attempts, with a 15-minute interval between each. Your highest score will be applied to your final grade. The final exam is limited to one attempt, and once you submit a quiz or exam, answers cannot be changed. You will receive a final course score after completing all assessments and required assignments. If you choose to transfer the course for credit to a partner or non-partner college, you can request a transcript, and your final score will be sent to your chosen institution, which will determine credit based on their academic criteria. Additionally, transcripts can be sent to non-schools and third-party programs for course completion verification.
